I prefer that you make an order 2-4 weeks in advance. But “in case”, never hesitate to contact me if you have less time notice. I’ll see if it fits my baking schedule. All my cakes are baked fresh so I just need enough time to actually make them! The last 5 days of order (the collection date is not counted) will be charged 20% extra from the total of your order.

A 50% of deposit is required to confirm your order via banking once you agreed with the price. The balance shall be paid upon collection. If paying by cash, correct change is appreciated, as we may not have the exact change on the premises. If paying via banking, the money needs to hit the account BEFORE the product leaves the premises.
You can cancel your order free of charge up to 1 week before the collection date. Otherwise, 50% of deposit is non-refundable for last 5 days of cancellation before the collection date. If your cake contains of 3d fondant figures, 50% of deposit will not be refund for any cancellation ( because the figures are made earlier and left it to dry before they can put on your cake). The deposit will be retained to cover costs for the materials already purchased, made and time, also for reserve the date. The order is final when the deposit has been paid.
When you place an order, it is customary that you clearly indicate your wish. (e.g. by means of an example photo, size of the cake, preference of the filling, name, age and the number of people).
Up to 1 week before the order is picked up any changes can be communicated. Otherwise, this is unfortunately no longer possible in connection with ordering personal products for the order.
I reserves the right to cancel orders if it is forced to do so due to force majeure (illness, family circumstances or other).
I can do sometimes delivery cupcakes, cakes, cake pop and cookies in Sittard-Geleen. Unless you are willing to drive and pick it up. Cake that is more than 2 tiers will be deliver by me to be assure the cake to arrive safely for you. Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages.
A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.
Delivery cost will be charged to other areas than Sittard-Geleen by two ways distance. According to the current rate.
Make sure your vehicle is clean and free of items that can roll or slide into the cake. Cakes are very fragile and break easily. Drive carefully and slowly. Make sure the cake is on level ground at all times. If you are representative elects to picks up and set up a tiered cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves my place. Delivery of the cake should be directly to your venue, not a big round to supermarket or anywhere! I highly recommend delivery of all tiered, detailed and heavy cakes.
I do not 100% copy other designers’ art work. So PLEASE never ask me to be a copy cat. Sample photo will NEVER be copied exactly. The photo can be used as inspiration. Perhaps, I would prefer to create a perfect yet original design for you. The design is absolutely 100% original. Every cake I craft is unique and specially made for you!
My cake is approximately between 10-17cm height with 2/3/4 layers. Please do not compare my cake with other bakers whom provide you one or two layers cakes (which might have slightly different on the price). Perhaps, I can adjust the layers with you to fit your cake design.
I do not use any additives or preservations, so my cupcakes and cakes are always best when served immediately. I bake your cake a day before you pick it up. If not served on the day of purchase, please store in an airtight container. They will keep for 3 days at room temperature.
I do not offer rainbow cake or other very colourful spray cakes. It has too much colouring dumped in it. I believe that the amount of colour that has to go into it to achieve the nice colour isn’t necessary. I encourage you to stay healthy.
My handmade cakes are freshly baked, without any additives, with fresh farm eggs, self-raising flour, low-gluten flour, FunCakes buttercream flour, fine sugar, icing sugar, oil, olive butter, margerine, water, milk, vanilla essence, 60% + chocolate, double cream, baking powder, baking soda. Coloring pigments are imported (Wilton EU Icing Colour, Wilton Color Dust, RD Colour Dust, RD Food Paint, RD Double Sided Food Pen, Squires Kitchen Colour Dust), it is edible, but it can be avoided. Althought some cakes vary slightly, our base ingredients tend to be very close to the list above unless requested otherwise.
My products may contain or come into contact with milk, cream, butter, wheat, eggs, nuts, almonds, soy,and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold me harmless for allergic reactions. All cakes are contain DAIRY. Until I can find a suitable alternative that meets the standards required, I am unable to offer dairy-free products.
The buttercream is made without icing sugar and hints of vanilla extract. It has added the FunCakes buttercream flour which make it less oily. Fully recommend to use buttercream than whipped cream to get a nice and firm surface of your cake or cupcakes. Surface of the cake covered with fondant taste sweet, it is recommended to eat less, or even not eat.
If a cake needs to be covered with fondant I only use high quality FunCakes/Renshaw rolfondant or Satin Ice gum paste.
My fondant-decorated cakes, cupcakes and cookies are made with great care and attention. On average it takes 8 to 13 hours to bake and decorate, sometimes even days. The more detailed and sumptuous your cake, cupcakes or cookies, the more time it will cost.
Handmade flowers and other decorative objects may be fixed with toothpicks or wire. For above 2 tiers cakes will have sticks and cake board in between the cakes to support. Please pay attention when eating. Fondant figures, flowers and other decorations can be removed or placed ventilated shade dried before and after used.
You may get/rent a barbie doll (you may bring your own doll if you like) for your barbie doll cake. Barbie dolls are the production wrap with plastic wrap, in order to ensure food hygiene. Please let me know if you have figures or toys that you wish to put on the cake to cut down the cost of the cake. It’s for sure possible to do that, It’s all depends on you.
Every wedding cake (or should I said most cake) was done with buttercream. The price of the cake goes up based on complexity of design, and estimated time that will go into it. There are so many variables that will increase the cost of the cake: shaped tiers, intricate piping, gumpaste flowers, buttercream stenciling, and the list goes on. In saying that, there are plenty of ways to keep the cake within budget: round tiers, fresh flowers, less intricate piping, etc., and you’ll still have a gorgeous cake!

Cake is fresh food, you cannot return. I am not responsible for any damage to the cake after it has left my place. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure LEVEL area to transport and at the event. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy LEVEL table.
All products are made to be eaten on the day of the celebration or second.
It is very important to keep the cake cool and out of direct sunlight. Make sure no heat is on and car is cool, preferably cold. Keep refrigerated for whipped cream cake and normal buttercream cake. Take out 30 minutes before serving to let cake come to room temperature. Remember! Cake is like ice cream, it will melt. If you are storing overnight refrigeration is a MUST for whipped cream or buttercream cake.
Pick up cake from the bottom but not from the sides to prevent from damaging the cake. Remember! Once it leaves my place, it’s no longer my responsibility.
Location of your cake is important I am not resposible for any cakes set beside speakers, heat lamps, fans or other conditions that are not optimal to cakes and buttercream icing. I have the right to refuse any set ups that are not optimal conditions for the cake.
Once cakes are set up, they are not intended to be moved until served. I am not responsible for damage caused by others after the cake is set up by me.
It is possible that you are not satisfied with the order. You must notify me in writing immediately or at least 12 hours after delivery. Part of the cake and/or at least half of your order cupcakes must be kept in order to record the complaint. I will do my best in consultation with the customer to come up with a suitable solution.
I reserve the right to use any image of a Product made by me for publication at a later date.
By agreeing to the above description, this will become a verbal contract between you and me.
